Go airport shuttle las vegas reviews11/10/2023 ![]() Ridiculous!īack to Vegas ( May 2010) for the third time in two years and from a long way away.we must like it or is is merely escapism and to view an adult playground? After the third visit, this time opting to stay at MGM Grand which was only an average experience, I feel qualified to comment on how expensive Vegas has become. So hard, perhaps, the Las Vegas Hilton was charging $14/day for Internet service. (Stupid corporate management not paying attention to the economy, signs, perhaps?) The economy there has obviously been hit hard. They looked like ghost towns-couldn't believe how many there were. As a side note, it was depressing to see, as you rode the shuttle, the many unfinished building sites, with super large hotels in various stages of construction. He was apologetic, but I don't think the company owner realizes how many people will not use that service again. I did talk to someone the next day, and he agreed that they need a better training program, and that the drivers are only supposed to wait a max of 15 min. In a city this large, with 40 million visitors a year, you'd think they would have their act together better to compete for riders. I don't know who to recommend, but I know that Executive Shuttle is not it, and apparently the Grayline Shuttle isn't either. Management was nowhere to be found, either on the outbound or return ride. It wasn't the driver's fault with the pick-up time fiasco, but a problem with employees in the dispatch booth. We paid the driver, who was quite nice, extra to take us directly to the airport, as he had 3 other stops to make, and that would have put us more than an hour late, possibly missing our flight. ![]() She was obviously not paying attention when I told her the time had been changed and we needed the shuttle immediately. earlier) said the time was for the original time. later there was a van, and when the young man called into his dispatch, the person (same one I had talked to 15 min. They still had the old reservation time in the system, and was then told a van would be there in 10 min. Ten minutes after they didn't arrive at the scheduled time, we called. We were not given a confirmation number, told it was no problem. After making it, realized we needed to get there 1/2 hr sooner, so called them back. Made a reservation to be picked up to return to the airport. There is no bus service or elevated train (there is an elevated train that runs along the strip) to get from the airport to the strip-Las Vegas is behind the times. (I read elsewhere on Trip Advisor not to take the Grayline Airport Shuttle-it seems to have the same problem.) By the time we got to the hotel (6 mi. Cabs were outrageously expensive for just a 6-mi. ![]() (Also sounds like the company doesn't even pay its drivers minimum wage.) There were at least 4 shuttle companies outside the terminal, so there is competition. We guessed that the drivers are paid by the number of passengers, so they wait and wait to fill the van. more." Well, after hearing that 4 times, 3 of us requested that the driver leave immediately, we had waited way too long. ![]() When they asked when it was leaving, they were told "just 5 min. There were already 3 other couples on the van, getting anxious, too. in the heat, with the air conditioning obviously not functioning well with the door open, before taking off for the strip. The van is comfortable, but we sat on it nearly 40 min. The cost to the hotel on the strip was $6. There is no website that I can tell for the company I used, and couldn't find them online. I do not know whether it is the same as another company with limos (the one I used have them, too-several companies on the baggage level). I walked out of the airport and went to the booth for Executive Shuttle. ![]()
